Thank you for your kind welcome to the Parish last weekend. I celebrated Masses in all the Churches, and also attended the beautiful Harvest Thanksgiving Service in Barmeath Castle.
It was lovely to be with parishioners at our weekly worship, and to connect with others through the outreach of having parish bulletins in Carrons, Togher and O’Neill’s in Annagassan.
I was also able to connect with the principals of our two lovely schools. We are very fortunate to have such a dedicated school staff to care for our young people, and I look forward to seeing many of them at Mass (especially those preparing for the Sacraments – dates will be organised ASAP). I also heard the Children’s Choir at their practice in St. Finians Church on Thursday night – before meeting the Parish Pastoral Council.
So, all in all, a lovely start!
